Wow Best In Slot Addon Classic
BestInSlotClassic is an add-on providing BestInSlot information in-game about best in slot (items and enchantments) in PvE for each class.
World of Warcraft's user interface really hasn't changed since the game was released in 2004 but luckily, there are plenty of addons out there to bring much of the outdated UI into the present. BiS Tracker tracks and displays the best in slots items for your character. Thanks to Wizlol for his contributions to the development of the addon. Click the arrow in the top-right of your character window to open up the addon popout. Features:– Displays whether or not you have the item equipped/in your bags– Displays. I am looking for an AddOn that i can plan my gear in like you can on websites as wowhead. In the area of having some some kind of UI where i can assign my planned bis item to a slot i.e. Head, shoulders and so on. Best in Slot Resource for World of Warcraft Best in Slot (also BiS) is the best gear for your character at a specific slot. This website provides BiS gear lists for all classes and specs. We gather our data by researching approved Forums, running simulations with Simulationcraft and by cooperating with some of the best players of their class.
Supported lists are:
- Warrior: P1 -> P3
- Paladin: P1 -> P6
- Hunter: P1 -> P6
- Rogue: P1 -> P6
- Priest: P1 -> P6
- Shaman: P1 -> P6
- Mage: P1 -> P6
- Warlock: P1 -> P6
- Druid: P1 -> P6
More than 8000 bis items stored in the add-on, 34 specialisations included (including Magic resistances for some classes). It also display source for (hopefully) all items available amongst others:
– Containers
– Loot
– Quest
– Craft
– Vendor
All icons are clickable so that you can link/display an enchantment or an item to your group/mate/whisp.
Ideations:
I still have some ideas for this add-on, amongst others:
– Calculating main character stats for the current equipment
– Adding a possibility to define quickly whether an item is an upgrade or not compared to your actual equipment. (A la BIS by Exolink)
– Adding a possibility to check which potential upgrade you could retrieve from the zone you're in (A la Atlasloot)
– Adding a possibility to browse the BIS list for a given slot
– Adding more sets to the actual lists
– .. And making coffee ! But I guess that WoW Classic P7 would have been reached by then 🙂
Usage:
Click on the minimap button or type in /bis or /bestinslot to open the main window.
Other supported commands are:

- /bis settings: Opens the setting pane.
- /bis loglevel level: Set the loglevel of the add-on, it's not recommenced to change this setting.
- /bis reset. Reset the add-on preferences
- /bis help. Shows help with CLI.
– /bis version. Shows the add-on version. (As from 1.5.1 only)

This is an updated version of the popular Best In Slot Redux addon used to track and manage what your best items are in Raids and Dungeons. Currently this build only had the new Raid boss drops and will be updated to include all dungeon items.
Accessing the AddOn
By default there's a mini-map button which looks like this: You can also access the AddOn by using the chat commands: /bis or /bestinslot. Try /bis help for additional commands. There's also support for data broker AddOns like Titan Panel or similar.
The Manager
The BiS Manager is where all the magic happens. This is the place where you can set your BestInSlot lists. On startup the AddOn automatically selects the highest available raid tier and difficulty. You can make a BestInSlot list for every raid tier, for every difficulty, for every specialization. For instance, a hunter can have 3 specializations for Mythic Antorus, the Burning Throne: one for Beast Mastery, Marksmanship and Survival.
The manager will show you a copy of your inventory screen and for each slot you can set a BestInSlot item. The AddOn uses the loot list of that list and checks if you're eligible for that loot in that slot. You'll get a list with items that you're eligible to roll for the selected raid tier, difficulty and specialization.
I've setup my BiS list, what is the advantage of using this Add On?
First off, you can easily check what you need from an instance on a per boss basis.
You can make custom BiS lists if you need more than the standard one for each specc.
You can export your BiS lists to WoWhead or SimCraft.
Cool. Can this somehow help seeing who needs which item too?
Yes it can! With the Request BiS panel can you automatically fetch your raids, guild members or a whisper target's BiS lists and see how many people that need an item from each boss.
And if you have a persons BiS list so can you see that they need that item with the ingame tooltip.
Note: This version was created when I ran into UI errors on the Shadowlands Beta when trying to update it for my guild.
